Scholastic Clay Target Program

  The Scholastic Clay Target Program conducted at the DeWitt Club provides student 12yrs old through grade 12 with the opportunity to learn the shotgun sports of Skeet & Trap, showcase their competitive shooting skills and earn state and national recognition. The program is designed to instill in participants the knowledge of safe firearm handling, as well as commitment, responsibility, and teamwork.

2019 Youth Shooting Program

We begin the year with an information session for the parents/guardian and participants. The session covers the program criteria, safe gun handling, required forms & overview of Skeet & Trap. All individuals new to the program are required attend the orientation.     Tuesday,March 19th  6:00 pm

Prior to participating in any of the training or shooting activities a firearms safety session / review is required of new participants..  Safety Review March 27th. 6:00 -7:30pm

Program space may be limited.

The shooting program will be held primarily Thursday evenings from 5:30 to approximately 7 – 7:30 with additional practice times on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday as scheduling permits.

We expect to start as early as April 4th – depending upon weather. The SCTP State shoot will be in June 22 at DeWitt and followed by an end of season team/parent celebration. (TBA).  Please let me know if you have any immediate questions.  Ed Pugliese – Coach  263-6699 cell and e-mail
